Community Programming, Starring You
Tuesdays are set aside just for you at Ho’ike Kaua’i Community Television. Our studio in Lihue, Hawaii allows residents of Kaua’i to share a message, exhibit their talent, and to promote their non-commercial events. We host weekly open mic and community recording segments that give you the chance to show others your unique individuality. These programs air on public-access channel 54.
Open Mic
Keep your friends and neighbors informed with our open mic sessions. Every first, second, and fourth Tuesday of the month, we tape open segments in the Ho’ike Studio from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Each participant has up to five minutes to present whatever information they want. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis. The open mic program airs all week until the next open mic session is recorded.
Community Camera
Express your creativity during Community Camera. This monthly opportunity is provided on the third Tuesday of each month, where participants have 10 minutes to light up the stage with their talent.
All segments are taped at the Ho’ike Studio. A reservation is required, and only the first six participants to register will be accepted. Recordings for the month’s Community Camera will air until the next program is recorded. Please call our studio for more information, or to reserve your spot for this exciting program.
